Your Soul Protects You from Negative Manifestations
“The soul will veto and prevent any activity or line of development in two areas:
(A) It will block your efforts and prevent you from achieving your goals in an area if that line of development would not be for your highest good, or would make it impossible for you to learn a lesson chosen for that life.
(B) It will block any line of development which is likely to be self-destructive, unless self-destruction is the chosen lesson for that life.
The soul chooses in the Interlife before an incarnation begins the specific lessons which it wishes the incoming personality to learn during this life. When you enter an area of reality creation which leads directly towards one of these lessons, you can expect rapid progress and a good deal of help from the soul. The soul will do all that it can to facilitate this process so that the lesson is learned quickly and easily. But it will also block lines of development that take you away from areas where your lessons can be learned.”

“The physical plane is a special case in the manifested universe. While you are incarnate on this plane, you are learning to use the most powerful creative tool you possess: your consciousness. Disharmony occurs when someone’s reality creation is not in synchronization with underlying creative energy wave of the universe. Q: Yes, but consciousness has free will and may know itself as anything! When consciousness decides to know itself as degraded, that is what it will experience — therefore, to say that consciousness always experiences blissfully is not true.
A: “The inherent nature of consciousness is positive –– that is simply a fact that we know absolutely. It is, as you might say, the ‘default condition’ for consciousness. Extreme discomfort can only be experienced when one enters a leading–edge environment like earth, where consciousness is narrowly focused in such a way that it is possible to fill ones entire perceptual viewscreen with thoughts and feelings that are counter to your inherent divinity. However, the narrowly focused points of view are joyously thrown away in the transition back to native state.
The pitiful ‘high’ from drugs or alcohol –– or any addiction –– is insignificant compared to the ‘fix’ of pure positive source energy. You are your own most wonderful drug!!”
